Two Shawls :)

Hi there,

I made these two shawls last winter along with other 4 different shawsl (yeah I was very bored lol)..

For this one I used very simple patter:
Start with 3 stiches, then for every row: Knit 1, Yarn Over, Knit till the end of the raw

Its really simple grater stich, it goes from bottom up, and it creates very nice edge:

The second shawl, I used different combination of increases starting from the neck.. .. I just went along as knitting as I it kept going, and it ended up like this:

For this one, I used big needles to create large chains, and it turned very beautiful.. I hope :)

My humble knitting needles case

Probably all knitters face this problem with knitting needles.. They can be a real problem.

Since I like sewing, I have made this humble knitting needles case from several pieces.

I made a small flap on the top to cover the needles while the case is wrapped, this will neatly secure the needles inside the case.

Well, its kinda neat, I made the upper two level of pockets to fit two needles each, while the front ones are wider so they can hold my double pointed needles sets.

Ermm.. I like it hehehe, I hope you like it too :-D

Brioche Stich Scarf

I have learnd to knit brioche stitch from this lovely vidoe (thank you Heather), and successfully implemented it into this scarf.. took me around 19 hours of knitting to finish the whole thing.

My own iPod case

I've always looked for an ipod case that I can safely put my earphones and charger in. The ones I've seen either comes in common colors, or they are heavy.

I remember I saw a case on amazon, but it was only for nano ipod and it didn't come in sizes, so I thought why not make my own hehehe.. the best advantage on that is that I get to pick the colors :-)..

And Here is another look at it when it's closed. I used velcro so that I can put other stuff in the pockets if I wanted, like my slim camera or so.


It is perfect, and I managed to put it in my purse without any problems. it is slim, neat and keeps all ipod stuff safly organized inside.

UAE National Day.. 2007

On 2nd of December every year, UAE celebrates the national day. A day of pride and union of 7 emirates to become one leading nation.

To celebrate this day, I have knitted this flag. May Allah protect UAE and grant it with peace along with all islamic countries and all countries of the world. Happy long life my dearest UAE.
